    This is the first time I have tried a cheaper alternative ink. HP had annoyed me by saying the old ink was past its expiry date! The Jet Tech cartridge was not accepted initially by my HP printer, which brought up an error message of a faulty cartridge. I had a close look and compared the alignment of the microchip on the back of both the new and original cartridges. I spotted that the new chip had shifted slightly or been fitted slightly askew and needed hitching up to the correct place so the contacts on the printer would mate with the metal contact pads. This was very easy to do and I will have no hesitation in reordering next time. The ink is great!!
