Will a drum unit fit in my samsung 3175fw just as a straight exchange for my traditional toner cartridge see 1 answer

  • The drum unit is a separate unit in your printer and does not replace the four toner cartridges. The drum unit fuses the toner powder from the cartridge on to the paper so you will need this unit installed alongside your four colour cartridges.

Image Drum Kit see 1 answer

I'm getting a consistent red light on the Samsung 315. Taking it apart, I can tell that the Image Drum Kit is full of waste ink. Could this be the problem? (How often should I replace the image drum kit?)

  • Your printer should report when your imaging drum unit needs to be replaced. We would recommend that you consult your printer manual or contact Samsung directly for this technical information. I have attached a link to their website below for your reference:

Can you supply without VAT added? see 1 answer

I live outside the EU (in the Channel Islands). Can you supply toner cartidges for a CLP-310 without VAT? Many thanks.

Can I scan when I only have the black toner cartridge see 1 answer

I have a Samsung CLX 3175 color laser printer and need to scan. However because my color toner cartridges are empty I can not scan? Is there a setting that i can use to scan with only a black cartridge present?

    Images were constantly good until printer panel said replace imaging drum and printer would not print. Manufacturers figures for number of prints per drum wildly exaggerated, unless they print 5% image to an A4. There is no option but to replace.
