How much ink do the HP 301 cartridges contain?

  • Unfortunately, HP no longer express the ink volume of their cartridges in ml's as the capacity is now always given as an approximate page yield..The HP 301 black cartridge should achieve approximately 190 pages at a 5% coverage and the colour HP 301 cartridge should achieve approximately 165 pages at 5% coverage.

im thinking of buying the hp 2510, can you tell me will the printer still print in black if the colour cartridge is empty? i currently have a epson and if one colour is empty the printer wont do anything even scan

  • Both cartridges need to contain ink to be able to use the machine.

  • The XL means its a high capacity cartridge. It is filled to a higher capacity so you get more prints. It is the same size cartridge as the 301.
