Degree of Compatibility see 1 answer

Are the non genuine cartridges fully compatible? ie will it show on the computer the ink levels in the cartridge? I have heard that replacement ones do not. Thanks for your help.

  • It can occasionally be a feature of Compatible cartridges that the remaining ink levels are not accurately recognised by your printer. However, this will not affect your ability to print and you will still be able to use all of the ink contained within the cartridge. Your print quality will not be affected by this issue.

I am unable to find the right ink cartridge for a Dell All-in-One 946 Printer. The pictures of your cartridges are different to the cartridges I have. The Cartridge has Series 5 P/N: M4646 on them. Any ideas?

  • Item 'M4646-RET' is a Compatible Dell Tri-Colour ink cartridge. This will look different to the Genuine Dell Tri-Colour ink cartridge 'M4646' but it is still compatible with your printer 'Dell All in One 946'. Compatible ink cartridges are simply a cheaper alternative to Genuine ink cartridges.

    These Colour cartridges (M4646-RET & M4646) are High Capacity cartridges. There are also Standard Capacity Colour cartridges available for your printer which have different item codes. There are also Standard Capacity and High Capacity Black cartridges available for your printer.

Help with dell AIO 924 printer see 1 answer

I'm in the philippines and having trouble getting a new cartridge for my dell all in one series 5 924 printer,scanner,copier. Error message- Left cartridge incorrect. Tried reboot, removed power, removed cartridge then place cartridge again and still not working. I need a new cartridge. Unfortunately, nobody sells dell cartridge here in the philippines. Tried calling all printer and computer dealers. Please tell me a compatible cartridge(other brand) that can be used with my dell printer. Regards, Marie

What is the difference between ink cartridges and high capacity ink cartridges,also what is the ink quality of the Jet tec cartridges you are offering?.

    Quality good, and much cheaper than buying a new Dell colour cartridge. Only downside is the print manager has problems identifying that the cartridge has been replaced, so whilst printer works fine, the ink levels are not displayed correctly. Just ignore the auto reminders to buy a replacement cartridge from Dell, but nevertheless a bit irritating.
