How to identify the original and duplicate catridges see 1 answer

  • This cartridge is a genuine HP cartridge. If you are viewing your printer model on our website, each item will show either "Premium brand recycled toner cartridge" which shows that the item is a compatible and not produced by HP or "Genuine HP" which shows that it is an original HP item, this will appear next to the picture of the cartridge.

I can't make my new cartridge work? I have put it into the machine but it keeps flashing the orange button?

  • I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing a problem with your toner cartridge. I would recommend removing the cartridge and switching off the printer, leaving it off for five minutes. Give the toner a very gentle shake for side to side and ensure that all clips and seals have been removed before reinstalling. If you are still getting the same error it is possible that the cartridge is faulty. If you still have the printer manual, it might be worth checking if there is any further troubleshooting you can try for this error.
    If you would like to advise your printer model and the toner cartridge number, I will also be able to check that it is the correct item for your printer.
    If you are still having problems with the cartridge I would recommend contacting the supplier of the item or the manufacturer directly and hopefully they should be able to assist further.
