    The colour cartridge is performing much better than the black one, but with a tendency towards sepia. However, for my purposes the main thing is that it should never let me down, and so far it hasn't. If it carries on like this for 9months as its predecessor did, I shall consider it a rare bargain.

    I ordered Epson compatibles when I saw the price of the Epson originals - they are simply prohibitive. The first set I was sent (of compatibles) was faulty - when I reported this, I was immediately sent free replacements, which so far have worked perfectly. I have printed out many online purchase receipts,business letters, copy letters and made photocopies of documents from my scanner, so far without a hitch.
