Dell All In One 922, an easy-to-operate, all-purpose printer
The Dell All In One 922 is an inexpensive printer that is ideal for the home office, small business, or college dorm. Compact and simple to use, it delivers good quality photos, graphics, and text in average to above average time. The scanning capability is outstanding; with a 4 x 5 photo scanned at 100 dpi or in approximately 15 seconds, it is extremely fast. The Dell 922 comes with a software package that includes a driver for making copies and scanning to applications such as e-mail or fax. Using a button that is located next to the scanner, you select photo, text, or book page. Then, you simply indicate what you want to do with it; e.g., view, print, or fax and the software sets the resolution and does the rest. The 922 also has an optical character resolution (OCR) application, the Abbyy Fine Reader 5, and an ink level status box, which keeps you informed while printing is ongoing.
