Epson S020047 Black Cartridge
For Epson Stylus Colour II, IIs, 200, 820 (Old Model), 500 (Solo Colour) printers
1. Seal the outlet hole(s) in the base of the cartridge with adhesive tape.
2. Make breather holes using the 3mm drill bit supplied with kit in positions shown.
3. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with appropriate colour ink.
4. Push steel filling tube through the label down into the cartridge of the correct filling hole. SLOWLY inject the ink into the cartridge. When ink overflows from filling hole cartridge is full. Stop injecting ink immediately.
IMPORTANT - The cartridge contains a sponge and slight resistance may be felt.
5. Seal the breather hole(s) with the plugs provided. If the plug seal is not airtight, then secure and seal plug with strong adhesive tape. This seal MUST be airtight, if not cartridge will leak.
DO NOT remove tape from outlet hole(s).
6. Unused ink may be returned to bottle. Clean syringe and dry for future use, or with a different colour.
7. Leave cartridge to stand overnight to ensure no leakage and give the ink time to saturate the sponge.
8. Install the cartridge and run a cleaning cycle as per printer instructions.
IMPORTANT - For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in cartridge. Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.
