Epson T044120 Black Cartridge
For Epson Stylus C63, C64, C83, C84, CX6300, CX6400 printers
Before refilling the cartridge with ink, it will be necessary to reprogramme the cartridge chip. This can easily be achieved with the JR Inkjet Zap-It.
How to refill the C series cartridge with ink.
1. Identify the filling hole (see diagram)
2. Using the small screw supplied with the refill kit, carefully remove the plug.
3. Fill the syringe with no more than 10mls of ink and carefully insert the filling tube into the filling hole, very slowly inject the ink and stop once ink bleeds from the hole.
4. Remove the syringe and insert one of the sealing plugs (provided with the refill kit) into the filling hole. Use adhesive tape to ensure the seal is leak proof.
5. Stand the cartridge upright to ensure there is no seepage from the filling hole.
6. Replace the cartridge in the printer and run a test print. (Use the cleaning cycle if necessary to induce the ink flow).
