Changing your Lexmark Inkjet printer cartridge (X63 / X125)
Replacing your cartridge:
- Make sure the printer is switched on.
- Pull the operator panel forward and open the cartridge access door. (Note: The cartridge carrier moves to the loading position, unless the printer is busy).
- Pull the old cartridge forward and then lift it out.
- If the cartridge is new, remove only the sticker or transparent tape on the bottom of the Cartridge.
- Insert the cartridges into the carrier and push back firmly until they snap securely into place.
- Close the cartridge access door and the operator panel.
- From the operator panel, press Options to select the cartridges that were changed.
- Press Start (X125: Start/Yes), Options to select the cartridge type installed.
- Press Start ((X125: Start/Yes).
