Using a sharp blade, carefully remove the plastic seal over the outlet hole exposing the bearing.

Push the bearing into the cartridge using an awl or other hard, blunt object.

Inject ink until the cartridge is full, stop when ink appears at the opening.

Insert a sealing plug into the opening and secure with strong adhesive tape.

Set the printhead on an absorbent surface, such as a paper towel, for 2 minutes to begin the flow of ink.

Clean the contacts and printhead per instructions and install the cartridge into the printer as new. Run at least 2 printer cleaning cycles to return print quality to normal.
