Brother DCP-585CW ink cartridges 

The Brother DCP-585CW is a small but versatile multifunction device that can be shared over a small wired or wireless network, which makes it suitable for a small office. Though it is fairly-priced and packed with convenient features for multitasking, the DCP-585CW’s overall speed and output quality is inferior to other models in the same price bracket.

Design

Although the Brother DCP-585CW looks similar to its predecessor, it boasts significant improvements in terms of design and user-friendliness. The device is notable for its sleek finish and a larger 3.3-inch colour LCD display. The commonly-used applications are conveniently located on the home screen to save time, and users can choose among 802.11bg wireless, Ethernet, and USB connections. The entire device weighs around 7.1 kg and it is quite compact at 5.9 inches tall, 14.4 inches deep, and 15.4 inches wide. Unlike its predecessors, the printer is Energy Star-certified.

Advantages

Many users say that 4x6-inch photo printing with the Brother DCP-585CW is much faster and that output looks more detailed and accurate. Ink cartridges are conveniently positioned and easy to replace. The high-yield black ink ensures savings, while the built-in wireless and Ethernet networks allow users to easily set-up the Brother DCP-585CW into a home or office network.
