Design

The Brother MFC-845CW uses colour inkjet technology and a 4-cartridge ink system to deliver high-resolution prints of up to 6000x1200 dpi. Its maximum paper input capacity is 100 sheets only, but there is a 10-page automatic document feeder for the copier, scanner, and fax machine. Brother integrated an answering machine into this multifunction printer along with a 5.8GHz digital handset (cordless). Somewhat heavy at 8.7 kg, the Brother MFC-845CW is quite bulky for a typical desktop, measuring 18.7 inches wide and 14.6 inches deep. The device comes with PhotoCapture capability, which includes a PictBridge port and media card drives.
