Brother MFC-J410 Printer Review

Expert review of the Brother MFC-J410 printer 10 August 2012

Our Verdict:

The Brother MFC-J410 colour inkjet printer is a speedy and reliable printer capable of delivering crisp text documents, vibrant graphics, and good quality photos. It has a maximum print resolution of 6000 x 1200 dpi and offers borderless printing. The Brother MFC-J410 all-in-one has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 2500 pages and a recommended monthly print volume of 50 to 1000 pages. The MFCJ410 multifunction printer does not come with a PictBridge port nor standard Wi-Fi.

Design

The Brother MFC-J410 colour inkjet multifunction printer comes in a sleek black enclosure. The MFC-J410 printer features a colour LCD display and function buttons plus numeric keypad on the control panel. Print speed can go as fast as 27 ppm for coloured and 33 ppm for monochrome. For connectivity, a USB port is available.

Advantages

The Brother MFC-J410 colour printer supports both Macintosh and Windows computers. It has a standalone fax and can print photos directly from memory card readers (simply use the LCD display to navigate and choose images). The automatic document feeder saves time. The Brother MFC J410 multifunction printer delivers good quality output at a fast speed.

Disadvantages

The Brother MFC-J410 inkjet printer would have been better if it had standard networking options. The MFC J410 photo printer also lacks a PictBridge port and a duplexer. The LCD display could also be bigger to make the operation of standalone features easier.
