Canon Pixma MP210 ink cartridges 

Home users will appreciate the quality and performance of the Canon Pixma MP210. It is not office- nor photo-oriented, but is a good choice for those looking for a general use device that can perform everyday tasks and light workloads. The Canon Pixma MP210 is a budget-friendly all-in-one that can print, scan and copy at decent speeds. It offers PictBridge support and prints photos excellently, but lacks memory card slots for PC-less operation.

Design

The Canon Pixma MP210 features a box-type design with the colour inkjet printer at the base and a flat bed scanner on top. The control panel sits on the right side of the scanner, featuring a good set of intuitive buttons, but no LCD screen for previewing print jobs. The Canon Pixma MP210 connects via USB, while the flat bed scanner can handle up to A4 size documents. Canon have also designed the Pixma MP210 printer for use with both Mac and Windows PCs.

Advantages

The Canon Pixma MP210 all-in-one can print at a rate of 6.13 ppm for plain text. Colour photos (4x6 inch) are printed at a rate of about 1.05 pages per minute. The addition of a PictBridge port is a big step up from previous AIOs in its range. The machine also boasts a low upfront price, but running cost is a different story.

Disadvantages

In addition to slightly high running costs, the Canon Pixma MP210 also scores low because of its lack of memory card slots and other multifunction capabilities such as fax and more advanced options for scanning and copying.
