  • The Canon PG-510 and CL-511 ink cartridge multipack was temporarily out of stock. However, none of our Pixma MP495 ink cartridges have been discontinued and they should all now be back in stock and available to order on the website.

Canon Pixma MP495 ink cartridges 

Compact and stylish, the Canon Pixma MP495 boasts innovative features that are considered pioneering in the all-in-one printer market. It is affordable, offers Wi-Fi connectivity, and is aimed at home-based photography enthusiasts because it can deliver superior photo prints. Unfortunately, it is slow compared to competing models, and inks are expensive. It also lacks essential features like a memory card reader, LED display, and Ethernet.

Design

The Canon Pixma MP495 meets the needs of photography enthusiasts and is compact, sleek, and stylish. It scans and copies documents efficiently and features a wireless print server, so printing directly from Wi-Fi capable mobile devices is easier. It uses flatbed scanning technology with a standard resolution of 1200x2400 dpi, which can be interpolated at 19200x19200 dpi. The Canon Pixma MP495 is only 12.2 lbs and is rather compact at 6 inches tall and 13.2 inches in diameter.

Advantages

The Canon Pixma MP495 is inexpensive, easy to install, and has Wi-Fi. The small footprint makes it ideal for limited spaces. More importantly, it delivers vivid and high quality photos. The copier can make colour copies at a speed of 26 seconds and is integrated with handy features such as colour adjustment, reprint, trimming, multiple copy options, correction, and borderless printing. The scanner features gutter shadow correction technology to remove unsightly dark areas on the edges of the paper, and the auto scan mode improves productivity. Compatibility is not so much of an issue with the Canon Pixma MP495 because it is certified for newer operating systems like Windows 7.

Disadvantages

The absence of the LED display, Ethernet, and memory card reader limits the efficiency of the Canon Pixma MP495. Canon also needs to improve the print speed not just of the Pixma MP495 but many of its other models as well. And although the Canon Pixma MP495 is affordable, the cost of consumables is quite high.
