im trying to find ink carridges for my printer canon pixma mp550, it has two blacks one being a larger cartidge, im finding it hard to ge and i dont know the number of the cartridge can you help

Our Verdict:  

Canon Pixma MP550 ink cartridges 

The MP550 is part of the Canon PIXMA range and is best suited for home users who are looking for something more advanced than an entry-level printer. With a range of connectivity options, a built in scanner and a photocopier, you can’t really go wrong with the Canon MP550 inkjet printer.

Design

Like other printers in the range, the MP550 has a sleek, slim design and has solid, firm construction. The main difference between this printer and its counterparts is the inclusion of a 5cm flip up TFT display which allows you to navigate and control printer functions including printing and copying. The printer also comes with a rear tray and a paper draw at the front which can both hold an impressive 150 sheets.

Advantages

If you want to print directly from a camera or mobile device then you’re in luck. The Canon MP550 inkjet printer accepts most major memory cards and has PictBridge support. Thanks to Canon’s FINE print head technology, the MP550 produces fantastic results -photos are vibrant and true to colour and plain text appears to be crisp with no signs of fuzzing.

Disadvantages

The MP550 lacks Wi-Fi or Ethernet capabilities, which limits its flexibility as a home printer. The all-in-one device also suffers from a lack of speed. The flatbed colour scanner took over a minute to preview an A4 text document and the copier churned out at a measly 5ppm. The only other downfall is the size of the screen display on the printer, at just 5cm, previewing images directly from a memory card can be fairly tedious.
