The Canon Pixma MP950 can copy, scan and print, which will make it a suitable option for a home or a small to medium-sized office space. The printer’s inkjet technology helps to deliver high-quality prints, whether in colour or mono. The flatbed is protected by a lid and can ensure that the results of copies and scans are precise. As much as the Canon Pixma MP950 is able to achieve, it does not have wireless connectivity which might be difficult in certain workplaces.
Design
The Canon MP950 measures 41.9 x 47 x 25.4 cm. The 3.6 inch, colour LCD screen has been positioned at the forefront, where it can be flipped up from where it conveniently lies. In addition to the wired connectivity option that can be made via the USB 2.0 port, the Canon Pixma MP950 also accommodates memory cards and has an infra-red port, which allows photos to be sent to the printer from a mobile. It includes dual paper trays, which allow for flexibility in the use of the printer.
Advantages
The Canon Pixma MP950 offers an efficient way to achieve a number of functions, with this partly stemming from the fact that it is capable of printing 29 black and white pages per minute and 22 colour pages per minute. The printer is compatible with PictBridge software and is able to produce excellent-quality photos. It has a high paper capacity, which reduces the need for continual refilling during large print tasks.
Disadvantages
The Canon Pixma MP950 is not as streamlined as other printers that have the same functions and, although it has a large paper capacity, it does not have a document feeder. It is also occasionally prone to paper jams which can cost unnecessary time and effort. The printer does not have wireless capability.
