I have a Dell A10-810 printer. I have had the cartridge refilled . The printer on switch constantly flashes on and off also the printer will not print. What is the cause and what is the remedy

  • I am very sorry to hear about the problems you have experienced with your cartridge. Unfortunately, we do not stock a refill pack for this printer, so I cannot confirm that this printer will be able to accept refilled cartridges. If your old cartridge was empty when it is refilled, it is not possible to reset the chip and the cartridge will always read empty so you may not be able to print with it. I would recommend removing the cartridge from the printer and switching the printer off for five minutes. Wipe the chip on the cartridge with a dry cloth and reinstall. If you are still getting the same issue it is possibly a problem with the cartridge. If you still have your printer manual you may be able to find some troubleshooting in there, or you could contact the company that have refilled the cartridge and they may be able to help further.

is there more than one ink cartridges in the 810 printer

  • No this printer just uses one colour cartridge. It mixes the three colours together to achieve what is called a process black. Please be aware though as the individual colours start to deplete, this process black starts to be come a dark green or a dark purple.
