The Epson DFX-9000 is a 9-pin dot matrix printer. Its size and style makes it suitable for a professional and busy office environment. This high-volume machine offers flexibility in that it can be used with different types of paper, which are handled with two tractors. It is hardwearing enough to have a mean time between failures of 20,000 hours and a print volume of 133 million lines. While the printer is durable, it is only compatible with several Windows operating systems which can be limiting in certain situations.
Design
The Epson DFX-9000 is a wide-format printer that measures 70 x 37.8 x 36.3 cm. Loading and aligning the paper is a simple process and allows for accurate results. With the aid of an ink ribbon, the Epson DFX-9000 is capable of producing a print resolution of 240 x 144 dpi. Operation of the machine can be entirely completed via the control panel on the front of the unit, which includes an LCD screen. The Epson DFX-9000 has a USB port for wired connectivity.
Advantages
