The Epson PictureMate 240 is a great printer for photo enthusiasts and scrapbookers. This portable photo printer delivers good quality output and can handle media as large as a 4 x 6 photo paper. It has a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 720 dpi. Print speed is good and its standalone capability is better with the optional battery pack. The Epson PictureMate 240 printer offers memory card readers and a PictBridge port. Only limited frames are offered and there is restricted photo enhancements offered.
Design
The box-like Epson PictureMate 240 portable printer comes with a handle so it's easy to bring anywhere. The Picture Mate 240 inkjet printer has a cover in the middle that serves as an output tray and a cover for the memory card readers. For connectivity, there is also a USB port that is compatible with Macintosh and PC computers. This unit weighs 8.5 x 6 x 5.7 inches and weighs 5.3 lbs.
