  • These 2 are the same however the one priced at £28.84 (£34.61 inc VAT) has a high capacity black rather than the standard capacity black the other one has.

Colour ink cartridges see 1 answer

Will you remanufactured cartridges work in the latest generation of the HP3070a printer? PCWorld have supplied me with cartridges which give the error message "Older generation cartridge installed" The problem seems to relate to the fact that my printer was manufactured after September 2011.

any difference between 364 and 364 XL ink

    The only difference between the 364 and the 364xl cartridge is the amount of ink that is inside the cartridge, with the 364xl containing more ink that the standard 364.

Our Verdict:  

HP DeskJet 3070A ink cartridges 

If speed is of the essence, then the HP Deskjet 3070A e-All-in-One is a must-have. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the quality. Designed for the home market, this low cost all-in-one is best suited to plain document printing as opposed to graphics or photographic prints.

Design

The HP Deskjet 3070A looks great – the contrast between gloss and matte is modern and would suit any home office or bedroom. The front of the printer features a fairly rudimentary 5cm LCD screen and a couple of function buttons. In comparison to other home printers on the market, the HP Deskjet 3070A e-All-in-One is fairly clunky (w435 x d301 x h145 mm) - not ideal if you’re running low on desk space.

Advantages

The HP Deskjet 3070A e-All-in-One spits out monochrome and colour prints at 23ppm – impressive for a home printer! The printer also comes with WiFi technology, allowing you to connect as many devices as you want.

Disadvantages

Unfortunately, the HP Deskjet 3070A e-All-in-One fails to deliver on quality. Monochrome prints lack clarity and sharpness whilst colour prints appear washed out. The flatbed scanner is equally as disappointing.
