Our Verdict:
Simplicity is often an aspect of home computing which is foolishly overlooked and if you are merely seeking a printer which can produce documents in a swift and effective manner, there is perhaps little need for you to spend way over your budget in order to attain this simple goal. As such, picking up a budget printer such as the HP Deskjet D4260 might well be a good move, but what does this particular printer have to offer in terms of ability?
Design
The HP Deskjet D4260 is very simply designed and this is to its credit. After all, too many home printers rely on gimmicks and design in order to deceive, but the HP Deskjet D4260 is very politely and discreetly put together. The colour scheme is a subtle light charcoal affair and the printer itself is small and very easy to move or, if you don't wish it to be on show at all, even easier to hide.
Advantages
The best aspect of the HP Deskjet D4260 is the price of the item. As one of HP's more affordable printers, the HP Deskjet D4260 is a popular choice with students and the like as it prints clearly and effectively and will not cost you an arm or a leg in terms of pence.
