officejet j6413 cant find these cartridges

  • The cartridge numbers you require are not UK cartridges. Like DVDs, ink cartridges have region codes depending on which country the printer was purchased in. Unfortunately, we only sell cartridges for UK printers and are unable to supply the cartridges you require. I would suggest doing a Google search for the cartridge numbers or alternatively, you could contact HP directly and hopefully they should be able to help further.

need colour and black catridges 920 for HP Officejet 6500 E710n-zAll-in-One series. Noticed you have it in stock except product description has it as 920xl. Is this the right catridge for my printer?

  • No, unfortunately we do not stock the HP 920 cartridges, we only sell the XL versions of the cartridges. The XL cartridges are just filled to a higher capacity and will work in your machine just as well but last you even longer. Hiya, I have a HP Officejet 6500 printer over the last few days it has been playing up to start with it would not print in black and i had to print every thing in blue in now it wont print anything at all when I do a test ont he colour every thing prints except balck is there any thing else you cn advise I do with it to reslove the problem the printer is about 18 months old.   • Thank you for your enquiry, do you have a black cartridge installed and does it have ink in it? If so, it may be faulty or not being read by the printer. If this is the case please try the following steps:

    Please switch off your printer at the mains and leave off for 5-10 minutes, in the meantime please remove the cartridge that is giving the error message and gently wipe the chip on the cartridge with a dry, lint free cloth to remove any dust or finger prints that may be restricting the cartridge from being read by your printer.

    When your printer has been switched off for at least 5 minutes please turn back on and allow to fully re-boot, then re-install the cartridge and try to print.

    If your black cartridge is empty or missing the printer will not print.

Our Verdict:  

HP Officejet 6500 All-in-One ink cartridges 

The HP OfficeJet 6500 is a Small Office, Home Office (SOHO) multifunction printer. With lightning quick printing times and an array of functions, this versatile printer is the perfect choice for anyone serious about printing. The 6500 comes with Wi-Fi and Ethernet for superfast network printing and the built-in memory card reader even allows you to bypass the computer altogether.

Design

HP have kept the 6500 fairly compact - impressive when you consider the number of features they have crammed inside it. The control panel on the front of the printer is fairly small, but is well-laid out with individual function buttons, there’s also a full number pad for faxing. Under the control panel is the machine's only paper tray, which can hold up to 250 sheets. The HP 6500 inkjet printer also comes with two memory card slots, an Ethernet port and built in Wi-Fi.

Advantages

For mid-range printer, the HP OfficeJet 6500 has a high-spec. And unlike other small office all-in-ones on the market, the 6500 actually offers functions that go hand in hand with the corporate world, including an Automatic Document Feeder and duplex printing. The running costs are fairly low, with HP claiming the inkjet printer to be 40% cheaper than a laser equivalent.

Disadvantages

It would be nice to see the option to connect a USB key to the printer, this is more useful then memory cards in an office based setting, where users may wish to print, scan or copy a document directly from their pen drive. The HP 6500 inkjet printer could also benefit from a larger paper input tray as 250 sheets can quickly go in a small office environment.
