A versatile inkjet, the HP PSC 2450 uses a dual printing method, allowing users to switch between a 6-ink and a 4-ink (CMYK) configuration when printing photos or text. The machine boasts maximum resolution of up to 4800x1200 dpi and has impressive print speeds of up to 21 ppm for monochrome text and 15 ppm for coloured documents. The HP PSC 2450 also features a scan, copy, and fax function, and even has memory card support. The machine, however, only supports USB connectivity and is not networkable, making it more suitable for personal or small office use.
Design
The HP PSC 2450 looks a lot like the earlier models in the PSC 2400 series. It has a flat bed scanner which also functions as a digital copier, along with several memory card slots for direct printing and 'scan to memory card' functions. The LCD display shows tasks and other printer options. The HP PSC 2450 is pretty compact at 373x466x213 mm.
