The battery powered HP Photosmart 395 takes portable photo printing to even greater heights, as users are now freer to use the machine any time and anywhere, without the limiting power cord. A huge improvement from previous portable Photosmart versions, The HP Photosmart 395 now comes with a battery pack and still retains the DC power adapter. The battery can last up to 70 prints, and quality is still 4800x1200 dpi, maximum. HP also added a much sought after preview screen with the Photosmart 395, although the paper tray is limited to 10-12 sheets of paper. Anything more than that will cause annoying paper jams.
Design
The HP Photosmart 395 has a very different design to the previous portable models, especially with the addition of the preview screen and battery pack. It retains the memory card slots on the front panel, but adds a PictBridge port at the left hand side. The machine also has a small LCD screen which can be used to preview images and make major adjustments. The HP 395 Photosmart printer features a USB port for connecting to computers and other compatible gadgets. This model can also connect to handheld devices with Bluetooth connectivity.
