Printer needs 5 cartridges see 1 answer

Why do your products show only four cartridges as a pack? I need five in a pack. One large Black and the other smaller ones including a smaller black. Last time I ordered from you they lasted only a short time and I think its because the main black one was missing.

  • HP developed a range of Photosmart printers which use the HP 364 cartridges. Some of the printers require four cartridges and some require five, the extra cartridge is the smaller photo black. Therefore the multipack of the HP 364 only contains the four cartridges which both sets of printers use. If you do wish to purchase all five cartridges for your printer, you will achieve the best value by purchasing the four pack and then purchasing the photo black cartridge separately. Your sets include 4 cartridges but my printer has 5 cartridges. ( 3 COLOUR AND 2 BLACK ) The colours are code 364 and the blacks 364 and 364xl ( the latter much wider than the former ) All obtained from you but i have mislaid the invoice. I want a full set-----please advise.

  • The HP Photosmart D5460 Printer takes two different types of Black Ink Cartridge.

    There is the Standard Black 364 Cartridge (Product Code - CB316EE)

    Then there is the Photo Black 364 Cartridge. (Product Code - CB317EE)

    Unfortunately we do not sell the full set of five Cartrdges for this printer. We sell a four color multi pack which consists of the three colours and the standard black Cartridge.

    The photo black cartridge can be bought seperately.

Photosmart D5460

The Photosmart D5460 is no multifunction machine, but it is a decent small printer — certainly one of the best in its price range. It is suitable for home use and is a handy solution for amateur photographers looking to print crisp images. Maximum resolution is 600x600dpi, and average printing speed is 20ppm in draft mode and 10ppm in normal mode. Most 4x6” pictures can be produced in as fast as 28 seconds. However, slight banding is an issue, and so are print roller track marks.

Design

Very similar in terms of design to multifunction printers from the same line, the Photosmart D5640 is a stripped down version without the scanner and copier. It sports the same compact shape but has with less buttons and a simpler 3-way navigational pad. It features separate input trays for different types of media, including a direct CD or DVD printing tray. There is USB connectivity for convenient local printing, plus an integrated card reader for CompactFlash, xD, SD, and MemoryStick cards. A PictBridge-capable port is also at hand for printing on the go.

Advantages

Excellent photo printing quality is still one of the key selling points for the HP Photosmart D5460, in addition to its fast print speeds. Produced colour is pretty accurate, making it a popular choice for photography enthusiasts. The direct CD or DVD printing features is definitely handy. Average users will enjoy the accompanying software, which provides basic templates and designs.

Disadvantages

Some of the same issues plaguing its multifunction counterparts still plague the Photosmart D5460, including printing inconsistencies (though forgivable) and limited connectivity options. It does not have a scanner and copier, and is certainly not suitable for small offices that need multifunction machines.
