Our Verdict:
Built for home and small business use, the Photosmart D7560 is a reliable solution with fast speeds up to 31ppm in colour and 33ppm in black. Users can even print and edit photos directly from the device. Maximum print resolution goes up to 9600 x 2400 dpi for full colour outputs. The Photosmart D7560 is not the biggest money saver, though, especially since replacement inkjet cartridges are expensive.
Design
Designed for light use, the Photosmart D7560 is suitable for small businesses and home based offices. The limited paper tray which can only hold up to 125 letter size sheets, and the photo paper tray can handle up to 20 sheets. This printer features a 3.5” tilt-able LCD screen (colour) for displaying instructions and menus, and several media slots for SD, xD, and other memory cards. The control buttons are intuitive.
Advantages
The Photosmart D7560 is also capable of printing directly to discs and is fairly easy to use, especially for those with enough technical know-how. In addition to the supported memory media, it supports PictBridge devices. The CD labeler works very well even on uniquely coated media. Text and photo outputs remain crisp on a variety of paper media.
Disadvantages
The Photosmart D7560 lacks networking capabilities and can only be connected to a PC via USB. It also lacks faxing capabilities. Ink prices can be quite high — a common problem plaguing inkjets.
