  • I've only had the Kodak ESP 7 a short time and I'm amazed how quickly the black ink runs out. I don't need colour prints so am I able to purchase just a black cartridge? Also, what is the most inexpensive black ink to purchase for the ESP 7? Once I've tried and tested the produce I would obviously buy more than one cartridge at a time to save money.

Cheap ESP 7 black ink cartridges

Yes, you can purchase Kodak ESP 7 black ink cartridges individually. Our cheapest black ink cartridge for the ESP 7 is this premium brand compatible Kodak 10 black ink cartridge: http://www.cartridgesave.co.uk/3947058-CPT.html

If you prefer genuine Kodak ink you may want to try the high capacity black Kodak 10XL ink cartridge which won'r run out as quickly as the regular 10B black cartridge. This item can be seen here: http://www.cartridgesave.co.uk/3949922.html

  • Are the premium brand Kodak ESP7 cartridges recycled from previously used cartridges?

Compatible Kodak ESP 7 print cartridges

No, these are premium brand ink cartridges rather than premium brand recycled ink cartridges. Our compatible Kodak ESP 7 ink cartridges are made by a third-party manufacturer and they're brand new. They've not been made from any recycled materials and none of the parts are made by Kodak.

Kodak ESP 7 Printer Review

Expert review of the Kodak ESP 7 printer 24 February 2014

Our Verdict:

Integrated with a scanner and copier, the Kodak ESP 7 is an innovative printer that promises value for money. It is made with the latest printing technology, but it has poorly designed hardware which makes it noisy, slow, flimsily constructed, and sub-par in terms of output quality.

This all-in-one device has Ethernet and Wi-Fi, letting you integrate it into personal network at home or in a small office. The Kodak ESP 7's Wi-Fi support lets you copy, print, and scan wirelessly. You can also directly print from a 8 kinds of memory cards and a digital camera via PictBridge. The printer is large and bulky, weighing 18.7 lbs. The Kodak ESP 7 uses the 2-cartridge but 6-ink system for printing up to 30 ppm and 32 ppm (colour and monochrome) and has a 48-bit CIS scanner.

Wi-Fi is one of the selling points of the Kodak ESP 7 because it helps users save time from physically connecting the printer to the computer. The initial cost is low, and running it is cheap because of the low-cost inks. There is a large 3-inch colour LCD display for easy navigation, and multiple USB and memory card slots for direct printing capabilities . The Kodak ESP 7 can be a standalone copier. Its automatic paper tray adjusts itself according to your media of choice, while the built-in duplexer lets you do double-sided printing quickly.

Sadly, the Kodak ESP 7 is plagued by a lot of issues. Perhaps the biggest is the poorly-built hardware. The Kodak ESP 7 is also noisy, and its scanner produces below-average output. Contrary to what Kodak claims regarding its printer speed, the ESP 7 is reportedly slow. Many users mentioned that it is slow to warm up and prints sluggishly.
