Our Verdict:
Kodak ensure high-quality prints and cheaper inks with the ESP 7250, a multifunction printer with a fast copier and an efficient colour scanner. The device looks promising in terms of performance, but users who have actually tried it reported disappointing print speed and quality.
Design
The Kodak ESP 7250 features an uncluttered, user-friendly control panel with a 2.4-inch display. It is quite heavy at 18.7 lbs and bulky at 17.5 inches wide. This printer is also taller than other multifunction printers from competitors. It supports Wi-Fi and has built-in memory card slots for wireless printing. The integrated colour copier can produce between 26 to 27 ppm, and the CIS scanner's resolution can be enhanced to 9600 dpi.
Advantages
This printer is often praised for its automatic duplexer and 2 paper trays (for photo paper and standard paper). The colour LCD lets users navigate pictures easily before printing. The Kodak ESP 7250 is also cheap to run because it is ENERGY STAR-certified. Additional PC-free printing features include PictBridge and Bluetooth, which you can enjoy with an optional adapter.
Disadvantages
The scanner's quality is poor and print speed is slow, especially when you are printing on speciality paper. While ink costs are low, the Kodak ESP 7250 consumes a lot, so you may need to buy more than one set of cartridges if you are doing high-volume printing.
