The Lexmark 2581+ is a wide-format forms printer that offers high-speed performance and impressive features like character and page monitoring and multi-part form support. It prints on wide-format media up to 16.5 inches in width, and it offers three print modes, which allow users to produce documents at varying speeds. The black and white Lexmark 2581+ forms printer is suitable for workgroups in need of a reliable forms printer, though it does not offer network capabilities.
Design
Compact and well designed, the Lexmark 2581+ measures only about 25x11.4x7.7 inches, still small for a wide-format unit. It is designed with a built-in USB and parallel port, and its 9-pin dot matrix print engine can produce a maximum resolution of up to 240x144 dpi. The Lexmark 2581+ 9-pin dot-matrix printer has a front paper feeder, which accepts cut or continuous forms, and it has an installed RAM of 512 Kb. The minimum media size that the 2581+ supports is 3x3 inches, while maximum paper size for wide format printing is 16.5x22 inches.
Advantages
