Offering better quality than its previous versions, the Lexmark 2590+ forms printer uses 24-pin dot-matrix technology, which offers higher resolution printing of up to 360x360 dpi. The Lexmark 2590+ is a specialised printer for monochrome continuous forms of up to 11.7 inch in width. It has multi-part form support, and it connects via USB or parallel interface, but it is limited to single computer connection, as the Lexmark 2590+ dot-matrix forms printer does not offer network configuration. It is a good choice for task-specific printing but it is not versatile enough for all around print tasks.
Design
The Lexmark forms printer 2590+ measures only 19.4x11.4x7.7 inches, suitable for any desktop setup. It features a 24-pin print engine, capable of producing 556 characters per second in fast draft. The Lexmark 2590+ dot-matrix printer is designed with two types of connective interfaces, including a USB and a parallel port. The 2590+ printer has an automatic front paper feeder, which is designed to handle continuous forms as well as cut forms for multi-part form printing.
