Lexmark Pro915 Printer Review

Expert review of the Lexmark Pro915 printer 01 February 2012

Our Verdict:

The 4-in-1 Lexmark Pro915 was designed with small- to medium-sized offices in mind. It supports PC and Macintosh products and features wireless and multimedia support for networks. A good all-around colour copier, fax, printer, and scanner, the PRO915 can scan up to 1200 x 1200 dpi and has a printing resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi.

Design

The 4.3 inch colour touch screen makes navigation easy and only shows what is necessary. The compact Lexmark PRO915, with dimensions of 251 x 465 x 403, weighs 26.37 lbs. It's easy to load different types of paper with the optional sheet tray (which has a capacity of 550 sheets).

Advantages

This all-in-one office machine enhances productivity and efficiency with its time-saving applications, which includes 'Scan to Email,' 'Scan to PDF,' and 'Scan to Network.' The PRO915's time and money saving features does not stop there; it has an integrated duplex (2-sided) printing and lowers costs with its 155XL high-yield cartridge, which delivers 3 times more pages than other cartridges.

Disadvantages

All in all, the Lexmark PRO915 delivers excellent prints and all the basic functionalities at a low price. However, there are a few kinks to work through for setting up networking with tablets and smart phones, though this shouldn't be a problem for those who have used Lexmark before.
