My printer is Lexmark Z1420. I tried compatible cartridges once before and the printer software said cartridges were still empty. I had to send them back and replace with genuine Lexmark products. Can you guarantee that your cheaper cartridges will work OK in my printer? see 1 answer

It can sometimes be a drawback of compatible cartridges that the ink level mechanism cannot be reset and the printer will not recognise how much ink is left in the cartridge, however this should not stop you printing and using the cartridge to full capacity. the original black cartridge was No24 I was sent a No34 and the printer keeps telling me this is not compatible do you have No 24 black cartridges...
