These ink cartridges will probably be faulty and could damage your printer and will cost you more in terms of problems and repairs.

The very first thing you need to decide on is the quality of prints that you require. Ask yourself whether you or your business require simple prints of draft text documents or do you need high quality prints of graphics for the purpose of handing them out to your client or consumer base.

If your purpose requires that the end print look exceptionally good and has to make a good impression then your best bet would be to purchase an ink cartridge that has been produced by the same company that manufactured your printer. Yes, they will cost you more but at least you are guaranteed high quality prints.

Another important aspect on the list is the manufacturers warranty. Remember to always check your printer’s warranty before you use an ink cartridge or even refill ink that has been made by a manufacturer different from the one that has made your printer.

The competition in the printer and ink cartridge industry has become so intense that the customers receive the maximum benefit. Due to the competition the companies that manufacture printers have slashed prices so much that they are now selling their printers at a loss. However, they manage to equal this out by making their profits on the sale of their printer consumables.
