Best in Business : Sony Vaio Wi-Fi Photo Frame

Earlier this year, we touched base upon Prinics, a digital photo frame from South Korea that could print photographs as well. That concept was neat; we found a product from Sony that is plain digital photo frame with a host of features that does not including printing.

Sony’s Vaio VGF-CP1 is a simple digital photo frame that has built in Wi-Fi capability and can directly display images from the internet and photo sharing websites such as Picasa. Users can alternately browse the web as well.

This photo frame has the dimensions 5.2” X 6.9” X 1.4”, offering a monitor size of 7”. This wide screen frame can display a maximum resolution of 800 X 480 pixels.

It has an internal memory of 128MB for displaying stored photographs. The frame supports BMP, GIF, JPEG, and PNG image formats. Media slots – memory stick pro, SD, CF, and USB ports are available for sourcing the images or and to expand the storage capacity of the frame.

All the controls are on a tiny remote provided with the frame. Staying with controls, the lack of touchscreen option which is a regular feature on other popular digital frames is notable.

One distinct feature of all Sony products is the price they carry; they always come at an inflated price, although the products are worth every penny of it. The Sony Vaio VGF-CP1 carries a price tag of £150.
