Brother Corporation has added yet another feather to its cap with the introduction of a professional and compact label printer meant for offices and retails.

The QL1060N prints at a premium speed of 69 labels per minute. This is by far the fastest in the market today.

The label printer uses thermal technology which utilizes special paper and upon exposure to heat, prints appear. No ink is involved in this technology.
Label sheets are auto fed through the label feeder inside the printer.

A spokesperson from Brother said – “A first for Brother, this compact label printer can be networked with both PCs and Macs and includes advanced web based management software, making these printers easy to manage on the company network,”

The QL1060N comes packaged with some neat software like P-touch editor which enables users to create labels and barcodes. Click-and-print add-on is an application that helps in printing using Microsoft applications. An address book application helps users print addresses for mailing and shipping purposes.

This label printer is priced at around £150.
