Brother Introduces Two New MFPs in Professional Series

It’s a printer carnival! We have been witnessing several printers being introduced in the past two weeks as they head towards the last quarter this year. Brother has joined the party with MFC-5890CN and MFC-5490CN. Both printers offer printing, scanning, copying and faxing capabilities, and at a reasonable price.

The Professional Series started with MFC-6490CW which was introduced in July earlier this year.

MFC-5490CN offers lab quality monochrome and colour prints along with all the usual bells and whistles of an inkjet multi-function printer. It is capable of printing on 8.5” X 14” paper. It also comes with Ethernet networking, fast print speeds and a flip-up, 3.3-inch, color LCD display.

The higher model of MFC-5890CN features all the capabilities of 5490CN and is additionally capable of printing on papers sized as big as 11” X 17”.

“The Professional Series line is the best option for business users looking for quality printing, faxing, copying and scanning functions, and who will benefit from the versatility to print up to 11-by-17-inch colour documents. The additional impact makes for a great value,” says Marie Le,Colour Ink Jet Senior Marketing Manager at Brother.

As the manufacturer claims, business proposals look professional and simply better on 11” X 17” sized print along with the ability to create eye-catching signage and flyers.

The MFC-5490CN will be available in the market in October this year and is estimated to cost around £65, while MFC-5890 is touted to be available in the market in September this year and carries a price tag of £100.
