Brother printers, a brand known for laser printers, has launched MFC-9320CW, a colour laser printer with multi-functional features along with being able to source feeds without the need for wires. It is aimed at offices and home offices. The manufacturer has ensured that the printer is made small enough to fit into constrained corners in small offices.
Print resolution is grand at 600 X 2400 dpi. A NEC VR5500 300 MHz processor runs the printer along with 64 MB memory that can be upped to 576 MB.
Print speed for both monochrome and colour is 16 pages per minute in draft mode. If these figures end up being remotely close, the end user will be the happiest of the lot.
The printer is built with Wi-Fi for a clutter-free office. However, Brother offers an options for wired networking in case the office has not moved to the technology of the times. Yet, one more step behind, USB 2.0 is also available.
Although the manufacturer claims cheap print costs, the initial payment is likely to bulky at £520 inclusive of VAT.
