Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050n Colour Laser Printer

i-sensys LBP5050NCanon is in the competition with Samsung for its designer looks. While Samsung chose darker shades to provide a cool and funky outlook, Canon has chosen suave designed printers clothed in milk white. The race is ON.

This printer can output a best resolution of 9600 X 600 dpi. The manufacturer claims that the Canon printer cartridges that are compact in nature – containing superior S toner, drum and cleaning units – if replaced is equivalent to having a brand new printer.

Print speed is not too great at 12 pages per minute for monochrome and 8 pages per minute for colour. These are quite slow compared to others in the market that are in excess of 30 pages per minute, at least in the claims section. Quick First-Print technology ensures that the first print-out is handed out almost instantaneously.

The new Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050n colour laser printer is a green champion as well. It’s fan-less design ensures quiet operation noise and the printer uses which 8 watts when in stand-by.

From the outset, it seems to be a good printer and as in quality, Canon does not compromise on cost. This one is rightly set at £175 inclusive of VAT.
