Canon Pixma MP630 Multi-Function Printer
One of Canon’s multi-function flagship models, Pixma MP630 is a photographer’s dream printer and in addition, it can scan and copy as well. We personally regard Canon as one the best home photo printer around and we are quite hopeful that this one live up to our expectations as well.
Like all other printers in the series, this Pixma printer prints at a best resolution of 9600 X 2400 dpi. And, the Canon standard of 1pl droplet is retained to offer superior quality prints. Five individual cartridges don the printer which in turn will bring down the cost of each print.
Canon claims that the Pixma MP630 can spit out 4″ X 6″ postcard sized prints in under 20 seconds. These are good numbers, however, we know that the actuals are never as claimed.
The printer comes with a 6.2cm colour TFT display and an Easy-Scroll Wheel to make life easier for viewing images and browsing through the images. Memory cards, USB port and PictBridge port allow this printer to function sans PC. MP630 is capable of automatic duplex printing as well.
With all the top class features offered, you would expect Canon to set an elite price on it, but no, the manufacturer offers to sell this printer under £130 which is fairly reasonable.
