Canon is just not shooting darts into the sky but indeed hitting the heavenly bodies right on the money. Their yet another Pixma line of printer that is bound to make big is the Pixma MP640. It’s a three-in-one multi-function printer and more importantly, it does not need wires to get print jobs.

It comes in a combination of attractive silver and black shades and a 3″ LCD screen is perched on it like its face. It’s compact and hence carries a small footprint, which is the need of the hour.

This Pixma printer comes with wired networking option through Ethernet along with USB 2.0 for standalone systems. Mandatory input ports – memory card readers and PictBridge are very much present. The surprise package is an optional Bluetooth adapter for sourcing prints from cell phones.

One can hardly pass a negative comment against a Canon and this one is no better. It offers a best resolution of 9600 X 2400 dpi which is by far the best in the industry and with ink droplets as small as 2pl, the quality is just bound to be there.

MP640 can print fast, especially photographs at 20 seconds a piece (4″ X 6″). Price isn’t too steep either at £150.
