Yes! Prices are heading downwards, it’s a direct result of the continuing economic recession. Earlier last week, Xerox announced their earning expectations for 2009, which was down by 75% compared to the previous year. Desktop giant, now in the process of conquering the printer market, Dell, has announced price cuts on some of its models. The discounted prices go up to 40% on the original price of the product when launched.
Dell V305 multi-function colour printer is one of the three printers that have been put on sale. It’s a nice compact printer that performs decently against some well known models from other manufacturers. The discounted price of the printer is £74 against the original price of £104.
Dell V505w is yet another multi-function colour printer in the group. The printer additionally features Wi-Fi for hassle-free wireless printing. The discount offering on this printer is around 30%. It now carries a price tag of £109.
The last in the list, Dell V305w, which is an extension of Dell V305 multi-function printer, in addition to wireless printing carries a smaller slash in its price at around 20%. It was appraised earlier at £140 and is now available at £111.
Printers are not the only products from Dell that feature reduced prices, other products such as monitors, electronic accessories, desktops and laptops carry some deals on them too. If this is an indicator for things to come, it’s probably prudent for consumers to wait until the slash hits before purchasing products.
