Epson Artisan 810 is Voted the Best Printer So Far this Year

Epson, the company that is making huge leaps in the past year in the printer industry got a shot in its arm when a leading website rated Epson Artisan 810 as the best printer of the year 2010. Well, we are just into 45 days of the year, yet, it’s an achievement of sorts.

The printers were rated based on their value for money which is the need of the hour for consumers today. As the websites states – the printers that fit the bill perfectly are rated the best, Artisan 810 does it, especially with its economical Epson ink cartridges.

This Epson printer is a multi-functional, that too, well above average. For starters, the printer comes with 7.8″ touchscreen panel which houses a 3.5″ LCD screen. Quality of prints are matchable to the Canons, which is considered as the best in the industry. I still feel that if you consider quality alone, Canon is still the superior one. But, they fail with economics.

Artisan 810 comes inbuilt with Wi-Fi and offers Ethernet too. It’s capability of connecting with digital cameras, memory card readers make it a special product to possess, and makes its shelf life longer than others.

Others printers in the race for the top spot were Lexmark Platinum Pro 950, HP Officejet Pro 8500, Dell 3130cn and HP Photosmart D7560.
