Epson claims that they have launched a new generation multi-function line of printers with Stylus NX400. The printer comes with Epson patented DURABrite technology and the major claims lies on the price per print. The company claims that the ink cartridge lasts six times more than its competitors.
NX400 has an impressive speed at 34ppm for both black and colour. It prints a 4” X 6” photograph in 26 seconds. It also carries a tiny 2.5” LCD screen for prior viewing.
The printer cartridge consists of three colour cartridges; yellow, cyan and magenta. Only the ink that runs out needs to be replaced and this is proven to be cost effective although tedious. Epson also offers high-capacity black and color inks for this printer.
The Stylus NX400 has an estimated price tag of £50. Each colour cartridge costs £6.50 and black cartridge at £8.50. A multi-pack colour cartridge combo is also available at £18.50.
