Epson has introduced yet another printer, Stylus Photo 800FW multi-function printer. It’s a photo printer that integrates additional capabilities such as scanning, copying and faxing. Why can’t Epson launch a non-printer product like a massager or a car accessory for a change?
The printer comes with stunning looks and is skinned in a black glossy finish. The contours on the printer hide an automatic document feeder and the twin paper trays are fully integrated to add to the overall sleek design.
The manufacturer claims that photo printing on the 800FW exceeds lab quality. It leverages upon its patented Micro Piezo print head technology combined with patented Claria Photographic Ink, and this combination can produce photos that are life-like, sharp and vivid.
The printer comes with a huge 19.8cm tilt-adjustable touchscreen panel. The dynamic menu system guides users effortlessly through the preview and printing options, including some unique features such as printing customised stationary.
Other features include wireless and wired connectivity, replacing individual cartridges as and when they run out and an integrated automatic duplexer.
The Epson Stylus Photo 800FW is currently available in the market and carries a price tag of £300.
