Epson Launches Stylus Photo PX700W

It’s raining printers and its Epson’s turn today. Its press note states that the latest offering, Stylus Photo PX700W is designed specifically to be the “perfect home printer for the budding photographer”. Nothing else could explain it better.

The printer leverages upon its patented Micro Piezo print head technology combined with patented Claria Photographic Ink, and this deadly combination can produce photos that are life-like, sharp and vivid.

PX700W can print a photo in 17 seconds that roughly makes it 3 photos a minute, which is excellent.
Similar to other Stylus printers, individual cartridges in the system ensure that only the ink cartridge that runs out needs replacement.

The printer also features PC-less features such as PictBridge and memory card slots. A 6.3 cm LCD screen mounted on the printer helps you view/browse images before hitting the print button.

The best part lies in its connectivity. It’s a network printer capable of connecting to a network, wired and wireless.

The printer is available in the market as of today. It carries a steep price tag of £200.
