Epson has launched a cost efficient printing solution in Stylus SX100 series. The printer is multi-functional with scanning and copying capabilities.
The manufacturer claims that the printer produces high quality prints that are water, smudge and fade resistant. The printer contains individual colour inks, so users are required to change only those cartridges that run out of juice. Cost effective, really!
SX100 prints at a speed of 26ppm for both monochrome and colour. It can scan at the best resolution of 600 dpi. The included software package is capable of removing red eye and can restore colours and correct backlight to faded scanned photos.

The printer carries a price tag of £60 including VAT while each individual ink cartridge costs £6. It should be available in the market from the 1st of September.
