Epson has launched two new affordable all-in-one printers, Stylus DX4400 and Stylus DX4450 in Europe this month. As the name suggests, it can print, scan and make copies.
These two printers have a printing speed of 25ppm for black and 13ppm for colour prints. They connect to PC using USB 2.0 media. It doesn’t appear to have a PictBridge port on it. DX4400 and DX4450 are expected to output laser-like text prints, glossy photos that are fade, smudge and water resistant. It contains four different coloured cartridges and each colour can be replaced individually as required.
The differences between DX4400 and DX4450 is not very clear. Upon detailed comparison of two printers’ specs, I couldn’t detect any changes other than the printer number. The DX4400 has a price tag of £59 and is available in the European market from June 20th.
