Gartner Inc Puts HP on Top for Managed Print Services

HP has been placed in the leaders’ quadrant by industry analyst firm Gartner Inc. The kudos is for HP’s contribution to the field of Managed Print Services (MPS).

The report, christened as Magic Quadrant Report, has rated HP as the top performer in the completeness of vision and ability to execute quadrants.

The key in bagging the spot was due to HP’s reach over various segments of consumers; homes, small offices, home offices, businesses and enterprises. To reach out to as many segments listed is a tough job, each segment would have different requirements and meeting those will always be deemed challenging.

The award receiving company itself is a little arrogant of its achievement. Company statement reads – this placement, coupled with the latest multifunction printer (MFP) market share standings and customer adoption, demonstrates its ability to provide customers with a robust MPS offering that delivers continued cost savings and increased productivity in the office.

John Johasky, VP and GM of the Printing group in HP said – “We feel today’s recognition by industry analysts, punctuated by our customer success and recent innovative product rollouts, speaks to our momentum in the market and drive to be the leader,”

“We are in the business of accelerating business results, and with HP MPS we continue to do that for our customers.”
